PROGRAM # 8075 12:00 PM PT

Mexico Edition.

A group of citizens will file a collective complaint for moral damages against Mrs. Isabel Miranda Wallace. They argue that she, in complicity with former PGR officials, simulated the kidnapping and murder of her son Hugo Alberto Wallace, and falsely accused other people. The plaintiffs, a journalist and relatives of those jailed, say there is evidence that Mrs. Wallace’s son is alive. In addition we talk about the case of Pamela Leticia Portillo Hernández, a 23-year-old girl missing at a police-military checkpoint in the city of Chihuahua. Despite videotaped evidence, which shows the implicated agents with their official vehicles, the Court never summoned them to testify, because the officers claimed the patrol cars were faked and the agents impostors. Martha Elena Ramírez, hosts this broadcast of the program Voz Pública, from Mexico City.

Guests: (recordings) Guadalupe Lizárraga, director of Los Angeles Press, in Los Angeles, California; Mary Sainz, a Tamaulipan activist; Lourdes Hernández Alarcón, mother of Pamela Leticia Portillo Hernández, disappeared in 2010 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua.
