Coinciding with the celebration of the anniversary of the historic battle of Puebla, this state was the scene of an armed confrontation. Ten people were killed, including suspected fuel thieves and members of the armed forces. In another case, in Chiapas, six nurses from the central hospital of the capital Tuxtla Gutiérrez started a second hunger strike, due to the persistent lack of medicines and the confiscation of their work benefits. Their first fast was suspended because Gov. Manuel Velazco promised to meet their demands. Martha Elena Ramírez, hosts this broadcast of the program Voz Pública, from Mexico City.
