The state and ministerial police of Zacatecas oversaw the process by which the Minera Tayahua used heavy equipment to destroy the houses of farmers in the town of Salaverna. The dispute began six years ago, when it came to light that the billionaire tycoon Carlos Slim planned to open the old mine and hills surrounding the towns of Salaverna, Las Majadas and Santa Olaya. On 2012, after the mining company carried out two explosions, causing the land to collapse, and most of the inhabitants fled the place. Martha Elena Ramírez, conducts this broadcast of the program Voz Pública, from Mexico City.
