Mexico’s National Association of Democratic Attorneys accuses the government of the Federal District, under Miguel Ángel Mancera, of criminalizing activists and leaving real delinquents free. The civil organization presented testimony of people who were jailed without the authorities proving they committed any crime, as well as cases that the same authorities refused to investigate, despite direct accusation by victims. Also in this edition, students of the teacher’s college Escuela Normal Rural Vanguardia, report that ever since the disappearance of Ayotzinapa students, school directors in Oaxaca have suspended curriculum that included political discussion. Martha Elena Ramírez hosts Voz Pública from Mexico City.
