Acts of sabotage against Sunday’s elections in five states of the country contninue. In Guerrero, teacher’s college students have clashed with police, while in Chiapas and Oaxaca, dissident teachers have been burning election papers and offices of the electoral institute. These actions, considers a well-known intellectual, are a response by dissident groups to the illegitimacy of power, the lack of justice and false elections. A veteran politican offers a different point of view, defending the importance of the vote. Martha Elena Ramírez hosts Voz Pública from Mexico City.
