Sixth Mass Extinction.
In the most comprehensive study of its kind, scientists are warning that Earth is entering its sixth mass extinction of plants and animals. This “biological annihilation” is more severe than previously thought and up to three quarters of all species could disappear. The lead author of the landmark study discusses the causes and possible actions to remedy or mitigate this catastrophic event. This repeat program was originally aired on July 8, 2015.
