Flint’s Humanitarian Crisis. The city of Flint, in Michigan, has been under a state of emergency and state authorities have been distributing bottled water and filters to residents at risk of drinking tap water contaminated with lead, a poison that causes lasting health problems in children. The last to learn about the contamination problem and to get free water and relief are the undocumented residents. A relief worker talks about efforts to distribute bottled water and filters.
