Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto visits the US and meets with President Obama today. A number of groups are descending on the White House to protest the human rights crisis in Mexico and the disappearance of students in Iguala, Mexico.

Also, Immigrant Detentions. Pro immigrant groups in the state of Washington are opposing the GEO Group’s bid to renew a contract with ICE to continue operating a large detention facility in Tacoma. The groups are also reaching out to immigrants who may not qualify for the Deferred Action benefit to help them prepare to protect themselves against deportation.
