TRUTH Act Forum.
Fresno County is holding its first ever TRUTH Act forum. The TRUTH Act is a state law that requires local governments to hold community forums if local police allows ICE access to any individual. Fresno’s Sheriff will give a report on ICE notifications and will face questions from concerned residents and governing board members. This program includes live reporting from this public session. This program also includes news on the efforts to reunify migrant children with their parents, and legal challenges on ICE detention conditions.
