House Democrats passed a 4.6 billion border aid package without stronger protections for migrant children. A samaritan from Texas talks about how her group supplies food and clothing to asylum seekers who wait on the international bridge or who are in detention, and about the tragic death of Salvadoran migrant Oscar and his daughter Valeria while crossing the river. Meanwhile, Trump threatens again with launching after the 4th of July the raids that he had suspended, as a federal judge orders the Trump administration to stop construction of a border wall. On other news, employees of Boston-based company Wayfair are protesting the online furniture retailer plans to sell products to contractors who are furnishing border camps for asylum seekers, fueling calls for divestment among state and local governments.
