Immigration Edition.

The US Supreme Court gave the federal government the power to place immigrants in indefinite detention anytime after they have completed prison terms, raising due process questions. On other news, Dreamers and activists around the country rally in support of the Dream and Promise Act of 2019, introduced last week by Democrats in the House. And after GEO Group announced the closure within a year of the Mesa Verde detention center in Kern County, community advocates want to know the plans for the 400 immigrants who are locked up in this facility. These and other topics are discussed with top experts.

Guests: Larry Kleinman, Political Analyst, Radio Program Host, Co-Founder, PCUN, Woodburn, OR; Rosa Lopez, Policy Advocate and Organizer, ACLU of Southern California, Bakersfield, CA; Dr. Gonzalo Santos, Sociologist, Professor Emeritus, CSU Bakersfield, Bakersfield, CA.
