President Trump vetoed legislation blocking his emergency declaration at the Mexican border, first time Congress has taken such action since 1976. In a related story, families with properties along the Texas border are suing the Trump administration over federal plans to build a wall over private property, the Rio Grande banks, as well as sacred sites, including a centuries-old cemetery and a church. Also, in Denver, Jeanette Vizguerra, the first immigrant to seek sanctuary in a church during the Trump administration, is now facing deportation, after a special permit that protected her is expiring. These and other stories are discussed in this edition.

Guests: Jeanette Vizguerra, Refugee in Sanctuary Church, Denver, CO; Tricia Cortez, Executive Director, Rio Grande International Study Center, Laredo, TX; Raul E. Garcia, Senior Legislative Counsel, Earthjustice, Washington, D.C.
