Immigration Edition.

Latino congressmembers reintroduce today a new Dream Act bill, which includes relief for TPS and DED beneficiaries. Also, while testifying before a US House committee, DHS Secretary Nielsen was grilled on the use of cages for migrant children and the policies of zero tolerance and family separation. On other news: after years of protests, the largest US bank, JP Morgan, has decided to stop financing private prisons, in what could signal the beginning of a trend of disinvesting in this type of companies. And an investigation into one of the largest immigrant detention center in the US found that poor detention conditions put people with disabilities in extreme risk.

Guests: Pilar González, Attorney, Disability Rights California, Los Angeles, CA; Kelly Ortiz, Digital Coordinator, Presente.org, Oakland, CA; Sounds of Congressional Hearing.
