Immigration Edition.

In response to the death of two Central American children in government custody, Latino congressmembers introduced a resolution to ensure that Customs and Border Patrol agents provide humanitarian and medical care to all detainees. Democrats also introduced a resolution to end President Trump’s national emergency declaration on the border. On other news, civil rights groups asked a federal judge to stop the Trump administration new policy forcing asylum seekers to return to Mexico. And two US Latina citizens are suing the US immigration agency after being detained by border agent in Montana only for speaking Spanish.
