Debt-Free College.

At a time of rising tuition fees and financial crisis for college students, legislators in California are proposing a bold plan to help students avoid loan debt. The program, called “Degrees Not Debt,” would help students of public universities pay for tuition fees and living expenses through a new scholarship program. The progressive bill would also make one year of community college tuition free.
