Latino Leaders Make Inroads in Higher Education. The two top leaders of Fresno State University are receiving a community recognition in California’s Central Valley. President Joseph Castro and Provost Saul Jiménez rose up from farm working families with roots in this valley. In recent years, the campus has gained national notoriety because of its outstanding record of hiring Latino faculty and the graduation rate performance, due in part to the support provided to undocumented students.

Mueller Hearing II. In the second session before the US House, Special Counsel Mueller was asked why didn’t he subpoenaed President Trump to interview him under oath? Some answers are reported in this program. Later, at a news conference, President Trump attacked journalists accusing them of lying and giving fake news after some reporters quoted statements from the hearing, including assertions from Mueller that written answers by Trump were “in general” false.
