California Wildfire Recovery.

Thousands of refugees in Northern California survived the wildfires and now are facing new challenges. Rising housing costs are reaching new levels, with rents soaring and many renters being evicted. Meanwhile, cleaning crews are working around the clock in the massive cleaning of debris to prepare the ground for reconstruction. Also, the first dozens of familiaes are starting to benefit of a special relief fund for the undocumented. And experts warn that with thousands going through intense stress and trauma, there is an urgent need to treat critical mental health issues.

Guests: Ricardo Ibarra, Editor, La Prensa Sonoma/Press Democrat, Santa Rosa, CA; Omar A. Medina, Coordinator, UndocuFund, Santa Rosa, CA; Adriana Arrizon, Health Information Specialist, Sonoma County, Santa Rosa, CA.
