Latino Economic Power.

A first of its kind study concludes that if the Latino GDP were a country, it would be the seventh largest in the world, larger than India, and ahead of Italy and Brazil. And it’s one of the most dynamic economies: the Latino GDP would be the third fastest growing economy in the world, exceeding all expectations. And a supermajority of Latinos are US citizens. This is a conversation with the co-author of this remarkable research that sheds light into the contributions Latinos make to the country.

Guests: Dr. David Hayes-Bautista, Distinguished Professor of Medicine, Director, Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture, David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA, Los Angeles, CA; Ana Valdez, Executive Director, Latino Donor Collaborative, Los Angeles, CA.
