PROGRAM # 8864 12:00 PM PT
New Stimulus Package.
As lawmakers in Washington debate the details of a fourth economic stimulus package, many urge them to include health care, economic relief, and small business support for immigrants and people of color. During the first round, the Paycheck Protection Program has quickly run out of money and small, rural, minority-owned businesses were left behind. And as stimulus checks are now landing in bank accounts, immigrants are not getting them, including US citizen children and spouses of the undocumented, even though they pay their taxes.
Guests: Orson Aguilar, Executive Director, UnidosUS Action Fund, Washington, DC (TBC); Dr. Raul Hinojosa, UCLA, Los Angeles, CA (TBC); Domingo González, Executive Director LULAC, Dallas, TX. (TBC)
