March to Sacramento: Fifty Years.

On Cesar Chavez Day, this is a conversation with elders who remember a key milestone of the farm worker movement: the 400-mile march or pilgrimage of striking grape workers from Delano to Sacramento. Original full-time marchers, including the striker who served as the march’s captain, share their memories to mark the 50th anniversary of the historic protest led by legendary labor leader Cesar Chavez.
