Senators Schumer and Manchin reached a spending deal that will raise taxes on the rich to fund investments in climate and health care. The “Inflation Reduction Act,” announced as the biggest pro-climate investment in US history, is set to be voted on this week. What’s in the bill? What’s missing in the health plan? Will it pass?

Educating Latino Voters in Georgia. Young canvassers are knocking on the door of Latino voter homes in Georgia. With the elections four months away, vote promoters want to clarify the new voter laws that passed in Georgia to prevent problems when they cast their vote in November. New laws reduced ballot drop boxes and restricted absentee ballots, among other restrictions.
