Vanessa Guillén Family Skeptical of Army Report. Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy is firing or suspending 14 military leaders at Fort Hood, Texas, in connection with the case of murdered soldier Vanessa Guillén. He also pledged to bring reforms to deal with “a permissive environment for sexual assault and sexual harassment.” Guillén’s family expressed skepticism and calls for the investigation to go deper and bring all responsible commanders to justice.
