PROGRAM # 8765 12:00 PM PT
Impeached.
In a historic vote, the House impeached Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of congress. Trump was charged with trying to corrupt the US elections in what Rep. Nydia Velazquez called a “geopolitical shakedown.” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she will not send the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate until the rules are clear. Trump is only the third president in history to be impeached. What does it mean? What’s next?
Guest: José López Zamorano, News Contributor, Washington, DC.
New Free Trade Deal. On the heels of the impeachment and with bipartisan support, the House passed the new US-Mexico-Canada Agreement known as USMCA. Will the Senate move along? What’s in the new free trade deal? What does it mean for the common Latino?
Guest: Dr. Raul Hinojosa, Founding Director, UCLA North American Integration and Development Center (NAID) Center, Chairman and CEO, San Francisco Global Holdings, LLC, Los Angeles, CA
