John Santos Sextet and Bobi Céspedes.
The John Santos Sextet, one of the premier Latin jazz ensembles led by seven-time GRAMMY nominee, the veteran composer, percussionist and folk music educator John Santos, is joined on stage by Afro-Cuban bandleader Bobi Céspedes, an acclaimed vocalist and composer. This is a recording of the concert performed on July 9 at the National Mall as part of the activities of the 2016 Smithsonian Folklife Festival. This concert was part of the Sounds of California program.
