Mexican Scientist Mario Molina, winner of the 1995 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his pioneering work predicting the depletion of the ozone layer as a consequence of the emission of chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) gases, talks about his life, his work on air pollution, and the UN’s Montreal Protocol, a landmark environmental treaty based on his team’s studies.
