“Patrias.”

Award-winning journalist Alfredo Corchado is releasing a new book in Spanish where he tells the story of the ways Mexicans who immigrate to the US have been changing themselves when moving North and in the process transforming their adoptive homeland. Part memoir, the book “Patrias/Homelands” looks into the politics of migration and the decades-long experience of immigrants through the history of his family’s migration and the stories of three close friends.
