Orquesta Aragón.
The Aragón Orchestra, a popular charanga band from Cuba, returns to California. Their unique sound, based on the traditional son, a mix of African rhythms and Spanish melodies, has been recognized with several Latin Grammy Awards. The Orquesta Aragón is credited with inspiring the New York mambo. Leading members of the iconic group join this conversation.
