Acclaimed Uruguayan author Eduardo Galeano talks about his latest book “Mirrors,” a collection of short stories about the history of the world. In this interview, recorded in San Francisco and aired for the first time on July 8, 2009, the late writer discusses topics of that time, including Obama’s presidency, the growth of Latinos in the U.S., and his life-long work to celebrate unsung heroes. This broadcast is part of a special series to mark Radio Bilingüe’s 40th and Línea Abierta’s 25th anniversary milestones.
