Academic researchers are launching a digital archive built by college students and volunteer fans to document the history of soccer in the San Joaquin Valley and how migration has shaped the culture of soccer in these farm working communities. The organizer of the archive comments on the current World Cup fever impacting Latino communities, and the way immigrant communities are transforming the kicking game.
