The Mexican American roots group and cultural institution Los Cenzontles is collaborating with young Zydeco accordion virtuoso Andre Thierry to create a new soulful sound. Through this musical collaboration, they celebrate the historic connection of Louisiana Creoles and Mexicans in their home communities of Richmond and San Pablo, California. This program is part of our series “Raíces.”
