Carlos y Luis Enrique Mejia Godoy: Fifty Years.
Recognized ambassadors of Nicaraguan folklore, the brothers Carlos and Luis Enrique Mejía Godoy tour the US celebrating 50 years in music. Carlos and his younger brother Luis Enrique, both singers and composers, were key figures in the New Song Movement in Central America in the 1970s. They will stop in the San Francisco Bay Area next week, bringing an activist message of support for the student and citizen movement protesting the Nicaraguan government of President Ortega.
