This is the title of a new book by Steve Phillips, a recognized political analyst. The author argues that despite the evidence that the US population has dramatically changed and that a coalition of the New Majority of Blacks, Latinos, Asians and progressive Whites elected President Obama, progressive leaders continue betting on White swing voters. Why not investing in the New American Majority of progressive people of color and progressive Whites instead?
