Adolfo Mexiac.

An interview with iconic Mexican graphic artist Adolfo Mexiac, a leading figure of Mexico’s printmaking collective known as Taller de Gráfica Popular. For 70 of his 90 years of age, Mexiac has painted on canvass or engraved on metal and wood images of social hope and protest. His image of a man gagged with a heavy metal chain and titled Freedom of Expression, created in 1954 against US intervention in Guatemala and McCarthism, was widely used in posters and student demonstrations in Mexico in 1968.
