Pope Francis Addresses Congress.
Today, Pope Francis makes an unprecedented address to the nation from the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives with a message that focused on welcoming immigrants, combating poverty and hunger, protecting the environment against degradation, and calls to abolish the death penalty and end arm trafficking. This program also includes a report on the canonization of Junipero Serra and the embrace by the Pope of a 5-year-old girl who gave him a letter asking to save her parents from deportation.
