Governor Kay Ivey of Alabama has signed the most restrictive abortion law in the nation. The law prohibits abortion even for pregnancies resulting from incest or rape and only permits abortion if the life of the woman is in danger. Doctors who fail to comply with the law face severe sentences. Cynthia Romero of the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health says the measure has sparked fear among Latinas.
