A young social media influencer called for a new “Day Without Immigrants” to coincide with February 14, the day US people celebrate love and friendship, in an effort to express love for the undocumented through support for immigration reform. The call to avoid work, school and shopping was supported by some lawmakers and celebrities. Some responded by taking to the streets, including a crowd that demonstrated in front of the White House.
