Republicans Delay Infrastructure Plan in Senate

Senate Republicans blocked the start of debates on the bipartisan infrastructure plan, arguing that the text of the bill has not been finalized. Negotiations around this investment package in roads, bridges, airports, water systems and other public works continue and a new vote is expected next week, ahead of the August recess.
