Question on Citizenship Threatens to Thwart Census Effort

The Justice Department’s attempt to include a question on citizenship and immigration status on the 2020 census form is politically motivated and would be disastrous for the count, discouraging participation by immigrants, according to Edward Kissam, a leading census specialist and civil rights advocate. He spoke with Samuel Orozco in an interview on Radio Bilingüe’s Línea Abierta program.
