Five years after the disappearance of 43 young people studying to be teachers at a rural school in Ayotzinapa in the highlands of southern Mexico, their whereabouts is still unknown. The incoming Mexican administration has formed a new investigative commission in which some of the students’ parents are participating. Meanwhile, in New York, the father of one of the disappeared marked the fifth anniversary with a march and rally demanding justice in front of the United Nations building.
