New Mexico is devoting all of its emergency funds to fighting huge wildfires that have destroyed hundreds of homes and forced the evacuation of thousands of residents. However, those funds are not enough. For this reason, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has asked President Biden to declare a state of emergency.
