Hundreds of California schools offer unsafe drinking water to their students, according to a study by environmental groups. More than a million students, many of whom are Latino and poor children, especially in the state’s Central Valley, are putting their health at risk when they drink water from their school drinking fountains. A bill to partially fix the problem is now in the state Senate. Radio Bilingüe reporter Rubén Tapia traveled to one of the areas most impacted and has this story.
