In a Low Turnout During a Historic Election, Mexicans Ratify President Lopez Obrador

Mexicans have voted to keep President Andrés Manuel López Obrador in office in Mexico’s first ever recall referendum. Although an overwhelming majority voted in favor of the president completing his term, the referendum had a very low turnout and fell short of the number required to make the result binding.
