Bilingual education and dual immersion is experimenting a resurgance in California. More Spanish is being taught, both to those who speak Spanish at home and those who are just learning the language. Teachers and parents seek to inspire their students using the best books and music in Spanish. Clara Roig Medina visited an author who writes books in Spanish for children, and a wellknown bilingual musician in the San Francisco Bay Area, to understand better how children’s music and books can encourage a love for language and bilingualism. This feature is part of our series Raíces: Los Maestros.
