Los Angeles is the national capital of wage theft, according to one study. It’s estimated that workers in the city lose more than 26 million dollars a week. On César Chávez Day, Los Angeles workers joined officials from all levels of government in the historic Placita Olvera, to tell them first hand of how wage theft has affected them. The government representatives promised to coordinate efforts to combat wage theft. Our correspondent in L.A., Rubén Tapia, reports.
