This weekend’s midterm elections in Mexico are considered the largest in the country’s history. Analysts agree that it will be a referendum on the policies of current president Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Two major political coalitions are battling for control of Congress, 15 governorships and thousands of local and state posts. Although the polls favor Morena, the ruling party, they also show that the margins are shrinking. José López Zamorano has this report.
