Radio Bilingüe is adding a new program to its broadcast schedule. Starting Wednesday, September 7th, 2016, at 6 PM PST, the national Latino public radio network will begin broadcasting a weekly edition of Democracy Now!, a one-hour national, independent news program hosted by award-winning journalists Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez. The program features perspectives rarely heard in the US corporate media.
Airing on Wednesdays during the evening drive time, at 6 PM PST, the new, special series will focus on Democracy Now! coverage of the 2016 presidential election, which includes interviews with newsmakers and debates on the most pressing issues of our time.
The new program offering is part of Radio Bilingüe’s “Hacia el Voto 2016,” an initiative to better inform voters and energize their engagement in the election process.
