In Colorado, when the economy reopened, the vast majority of residents were already vaccinated against COVID-19. But Latinos, those most affected by the pandemic, are lagging far behind and continue to face higher rates of exposure to the virus. To motivate them to get vaccinated and prevent the spread of infections, medical authorities are carrying out information and vaccination campaigns into neighborhoods, public spaces and large events such as the traditional festival in the city of Boulder.
