Dreamer Stories Radio Fellowship

Radio Bilingüe is taking applications from enthusiastic reporters or students for a six-month paid fellowship to cover immigration and immigrant integration, with special emphasis on the debate around the DACA crisis and the Dream Act.

The Fellowship is a paid position to help produce a special series of Spanish-language talk shows and news feature reports in Spanish and English. The Fellowship work will involve meeting with production team to generate ideas for news content, help research program topics for facts, contact members of the community and public officials and write reports about findings, interview news subjects, and create and post content on social media.

The Radio Bilingüe Fellow will be based at the offices of Radio Bilingüe in Fresno and will report to the news and information director.

We are looking for a Fellow who has a demonstrated interest in news, a passion for telling stories, and ability to reach out and communicate with community members.

The candidate must have two years of college or equivalent experience, with strong writing skills, experience researching projects, and fully bilingual in Spanish and English. Familiarity with digital editing programs will be desirable.
