Immigrant-rights and religious organizations are taking the governments of Mexico and the United States to the Interamerican Commission of Human Rights for violating the human rights of Central American migrants. The lawsuit states that by massively deporting migrants and making it hard for them to get asylum in Mexico, the Plan Frontera Sur violates international treaties signed by both countries.
