A lawyers’ association sued the multi-million dollar prison company Geo Group last week in a California court, accusing it of putting detainees at risk of chemical poisoning. Hundreds of detainees complained of having suffered the after-effects of poisoning after being sprayed without warning with a disinfectant at Adelanto Correctional Facility during the Covid pandemic. The plaintiffs announced their lawsuit this week in front of the Riverside Courthouse. Ruben Tapia reports.
